Challenging Behavior Organization Annual National Conference

The Challenging Behavior Organization Annual National Conference, held in Tampa, aims to provide professionals with an in-depth and intensive learning experience centered around the Pyramid Model framework. This framework is designed to address the social and emotional development and challenging behaviors of young children. The conference is tailored for a diverse audience, including administrators, coaches, behavior specialists, higher education faculty, teachers, and child care staff, all of whom are encouraged to participate in this enriching event.

Participants can look forward to high-quality learning experiences that focus on promoting social and emotional competence, addressing challenging behavior, improving systems and practices, and building systems of care. The conference features both in-depth three-hour workshops and shorter 1.5-hour sessions, offering a variety of topics and speakers carefully selected to enhance the learning experience.

On Wednesday and Thursday mornings, attendees can engage in three-hour workshops, while the afternoons and Friday mornings feature two rounds of 90-minute sessions. These shorter sessions allow for a concentrated exploration of specific practices, strategies, or implementation elements and are designed to accommodate various roles, including coaches, administrators, practitioners, and leadership teams.

Additionally, pre-conference workshops are available at an extra cost, with options lasting one or two days before the main conference begins, further enriching the educational offerings.
