Beyond Horse Massage Weekend Course

The Beyond Horse Massage Weekend Course is an immersive learning experience designed for horse owners, therapists, and trainers seeking to enhance their understanding and ability to perform horse massage using the Masterson Method®. This weekend course serves as a practical step after engaging with the foundational materials, such as the Beyond Horse Massage book and video. Participants will gain insights into recognizing and utilizing the visual responses of horses to touch, enabling them to effectively release accumulated stress in key areas of the horse's body that significantly impact performance. Horses will be provided for practice during the course, allowing attendees to apply their newly acquired skills directly.Throughout the weekend, students will learn various techniques, including the demonstration of the Bladder Meridian Technique. The course is structured with hands-on practice sessions where students will receive individual guidance from instructors, ensuring personalized attention to each participant's learning process. The first day focuses on relieving tension in critical areas such as the poll, neck, and shoulders, while the second day involves further exploration of techniques targeting the back and sacro-iliac junctions. All participants are required to have a good grasp of basic horsemanship, as they will be working with unfamiliar horses. Although students will not work on their own horses during the seminar, they will be equipped to apply their knowledge to their horses afterward. The Masterson Method is recognized by various national and international organizations, including the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Organization (NCBTMB), offering continuing education credits for attendees.
