Beyond Horse Massage Weekend Course

The Beyond Horse Massage Weekend Course is an immersive experience designed for horse owners, therapists, and trainers seeking to deepen their understanding of equine bodywork through the Masterson Method®. This method emphasizes the importance of recognizing and utilizing the visual responses of horses to touch, allowing practitioners to effectively identify and release accumulated stress in key junctions of the horse's body that significantly impact performance. The course is structured to provide hands-on learning, with horses available for practice, enabling participants to apply their new skills immediately.Throughout the course, participants will engage in a variety of techniques aimed at releasing tension in critical areas such as the poll, neck, shoulders, back, and sacro-iliac and sacro-lumbar junctions. The first day focuses on foundational methods, including the Bladder Meridian Technique, with opportunities for individual practice and instructor feedback. Each session includes time for questions and discussions to ensure that students fully grasp the concepts and techniques being taught. On the second day, students will continue to build on their skills with a fresh group of horses, practicing a comprehensive bodywork session, ensuring they leave with practical experience and knowledge that can be applied to their own horses in the future. This course not only enhances the participant's ability to communicate with horses but also fosters a deeper relationship between horse and handler. To enroll, students must complete prerequisites, including reading the Beyond Horse Massage book and viewing its accompanying video, and be comfortable with basic horsemanship skills.
