The Bayou City Brawl is Houston's premier commercial real estate event, attracting over 750 industry leaders each year. This prestigious black-tie affair features a cocktail reception, an exquisite dining experience, and the highlight of the evening – boxing bouts that showcase twelve commercial real estate professionals who have trained locally. The event is hosted in a venue equipped with dazzling effects and a regulation boxing ring, complemented by celebrity appearances that enhance the glamorous atmosphere. This event is organized by a Houston-based nonprofit, which is dedicated to providing graduate-level scholarships to students pursuing careers in commercial real estate. The Foundation plays a crucial role in addressing the shortage of qualified individuals in the industry by offering vital educational opportunities, thereby nurturing the next generation of leadership in commercial real estate both in Houston and beyond.The evening's schedule includes a VIP Reception from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a general reception from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM. Dinner will be served from 7:15 PM to 8:00 PM, leading into the main event from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, where boxing matches will captivate the audience. The festivities continue with an after-party at Willie G's from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, which is open to everyone.
