Austin Symposium on Molecular Structure and Dynamics

The Austin Symposium on Molecular Structure and Dynamics (ASMD@D) is a prominent gathering of experts, researchers, and students in the fields of structural chemistry, molecular spectroscopy, molecular dynamics, and computational chemistry. Held in Dallas, Texas, this symposium celebrates over 50 years of providing an important platform for discussing novel methodologies, unusual molecular structures, and their chemical reactions. The event is organized by the Computational and Theoretical Chemistry Group (CATCO) at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and is dedicated in memoriam to Dieter Cremer, who significantly contributed to the ASMD series as chairman of previous meetings.The ASMD@D attracts an international audience, with participation from countries including the UAE, Nigeria, Russia, and the UK, reflecting the symposium's global reach. The 2027 edition is expected to maintain the tradition of featuring an impressive array of scientific presentations, with 8 plenary lectures, 53 invited talks, and numerous poster presentations.
