ASP Instructor Certification Courses (AIC)

The ASP Instructor Certification Courses (AIC) are designed for law enforcement personnel, qualified military members, private security, and other pre-qualified participants. These courses are offered at no cost directly to the law enforcement community, reflecting ASP's commitment to providing essential training and tools for safe duty performance. While most courses are free, some specific courses may incur a nominal fee to cover expenses. A refundable security deposit is required at the time of application for the free courses, which is forfeited only if a participant cancels within 30 days of the class or fails to attend.Upcoming courses include various Optional OC Instructor Certification sessions held at the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department, with specific class dates spanning throughout the year. The ASP Training Coordinator will respond to all qualified inquiries regarding AIC opportunities, and enrollment for each class closes 30 days prior to the scheduled date.
