OtherSet to ignite discussions from May 19–21, ASCEND 2026 invites innovators, researchers, and thought leaders to collaboratively shape our sustainable off-world future. It brings together individuals from civil, commercial, and national security space sectors, creating a forum for important technical discussions and the exploration of diverse perspectives.
Participants will explore topics such as the Space Economy, Policy and Law, National Security, Science and Exploration, and Technology Development. Individuals like Maj. Gen. “Bucky” Butow and Jim Free are expected to share their perspectives on strategic planning, innovation, and how we can best preserve space.
An open call for technical paper abstracts and session proposals is currently active until September 18. This offers a chance for individuals to contribute their ideas to the ongoing conversation about space's future.
