Arizona Financial Literacy and Economic Education Teacher Conference

The Arizona Financial Literacy and Economic Education Teacher Conference is a pivotal event aimed at empowering K-12 educators throughout the state of Arizona. Hosted at Midwestern University in Glendale, the conference is designed for teachers and administrators dedicated to enhancing their teaching methodologies with impactful lessons and valuable resources across a range of disciplines, including economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on, interactive lessons and gain access to classroom resources that can be implemented immediately. In addition to the informative sessions, the conference will feature breakout sessions tailored to specific educational needs, encompassing elementary and secondary education, Advanced Placement courses, as well as connections to math and personal finance. This event also includes the presentation of the Economic Education Teacher of the Year award, recognizing outstanding contributions to economic education. Participants can look forward to networking opportunities with fellow educators from around the state, enhancing collaboration and idea sharing. Travel stipends are available for Arizona educators, with $45 for those from Maricopa County and $100 for educators from other counties across the state. The finalists for the Economic Education Teacher of the Year 2026 will be announced in the summer of 2026, adding to the excitement and prestige of the event.
