Taking place at the renowned Ryan Field in Evanston, this symposium offers a unique opportunity for participants to delve into a variety of topics that extend beyond standard classroom learning, fostering both personal and professional development.

The event features a comprehensive agenda that begins with breakfast and includes a series of academic presentations tailored for students from diverse programs. This year, the symposium will also honor the recipient of the SPS Alumni Award, recognizing outstanding contributions to the field.

Among the engaging presentations scheduled, topics include the application of machine learning to classify heartbeats based on electrocardiogram data, strategies for empowering young girls to pursue careers in data science, and insightful discussions on the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in recruitment processes. Furthermore, attendees will explore case studies on leadership resource management and the role of AI in addressing climate change, among other pertinent issues.

The event will culminate in a keynote session titled 'AI for Good: Clinical Care Through Intelligent Innovation,' which aims to inspire attendees to consider the positive potential of AI in various sectors. The symposium also provides an excellent networking opportunity, as participants can connect during a tailgate event, bringing together students, faculty, alumni, and staff in a celebratory atmosphere.
