Annual District Education and Leadership Conference

The Annual District Education and Leadership Conference, also known as DCON, is a dynamic four-day event aimed at fostering leadership skills, educational growth, service involvement, and community connection among Key Club members. This year’s conference will bring together over 1,000 Key Clubbers from across the Florida District, creating a vibrant atmosphere for learning and collaboration. The venue for this year’s conference is the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, situated at Ocean Walk Village in Daytona Beach, Florida. This event, themed 'Cirque Du Service,' promises to be an exciting and memorable experience, focusing on service-oriented activities that engage and inspire attendees. Participants will enjoy a fun-filled program designed to enhance their leadership capabilities while connecting with peers from various regions, including the USA and Canada. The conference includes a three-night stay at the conference hotel, which is factored into the registration costs. For attendees driving to the event, parking is available at the Ocean Center Parking Garage for a nominal fee. As a requirement for chaperones, a background check through Kiwanis International must be on file, ensuring a safe environment for all participants. DCON serves not only as a platform for education and leadership but also as a celebration of service, making it an unmissable event for those passionate about community involvement.
