Anatomy Connected

Anatomy Connected is the largest gathering of its kind, attracting over 1,000 scientists from diverse disciplines and all career stages. This annual conference serves as a platform for networking, collaboration, and professional growth within the anatomical sciences community. The event facilitates deeper engagement through standing and ad hoc committees, allowing members to explore specific areas of interest and influence the strategic direction of the organization.

These committees, composed of volunteer leaders, play critical roles in advancing initiatives and representing the interests of the membership. The conference not only highlights the contributions of its members but also addresses legislative advocacy efforts that protect and preserve their interests. The Association actively communicates with policymakers, ensuring that members are equipped with impactful messages that resonate in various settings, including direct interactions with lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

The commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is evident in the formation of dedicated committees such as the Committee for Early-Career Anatomists and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. The event’s location in Cincinnati, United States, serves as an ideal backdrop for this gathering, fostering an environment conducive to knowledge sharing and professional development.
