Aim Ideas Summit

The Aim Ideas Summit is set to take place in the historic setting of French Lick, Indiana, bringing together municipal officials and stakeholders for a three-day event focused on learning, networking, and recognition of achievements within the community. This annual gathering provides a platform for cities and towns across Indiana to showcase their progress and share insights on various municipal operations. The summit will feature a series of educational workshops and exhibitions that aim to deliver fresh perspectives and practical takeaways for municipal elected and appointed officials.

This year, the Aim Ideas Summit is inviting proposals for workshops that cover a wide range of topics, including operations, development, and technology. The event encourages municipal and corporate members to participate in shaping a dynamic and informative program. Nominations are also being accepted for Aim’s individual and community awards, celebrating innovation and leadership within local governments.

Categories for community awards include Placemaking, Green Project of the Year, and Program Innovation, while individual awards recognize achievements in Distinguished Service, Municipal Management, and Financial Management. The summit promises to be a robust platform for collaboration and excellence in municipal governance, drawing an audience not just from the United States but also from countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Korea, and Brazil.
