Acton Children's Business Fair NYC

The Acton Children's Business Fair NYC is an engaging event designed for young entrepreneurs, taking place at the Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel. This third annual showcase invites youth aged 6 to 18 to explore their entrepreneurial spirit by launching their own startup business. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a brand, create a product or service, and build a marketing strategy, culminating in a one-day marketplace where they can sell to customers.With a total of 15 exhibitors, the fair encourages creativity and independence, allowing no more than three participants per business. Each young entrepreneur will be provided with a table and two chairs, though it is important to note that the event does not accommodate businesses requiring electricity. It is crucial for the children to take the lead in their business endeavors, with guardians allowed only to provide support and assistance with applications while ensuring that the children are responsible for setup, customer interaction, and sales. The event promotes the idea that principled entrepreneurs serve as heroes and role models for future generations, with sponsorship from the Power2Plan Youth Financial Literacy Program, Acton Academy, and the Acton School of Business, along with generous support from donors and volunteers.
