The Acton Children's Business Fair in Columbus, Ohio, is a unique opportunity for children to launch their very own startup businesses. This one-day event invites kids to develop a brand, create a product or service, and build a marketing strategy, culminating in a vibrant marketplace where they can sell their creations. Sponsored by generous donors and volunteers, the fair aims to inspire children to discover their inner entrepreneurs, highlighting the importance of principled entrepreneurship as a means to innovate, create jobs, and serve communities.

As the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America, the Acton Children's Business Fair provides a platform for children to showcase their innovative ideas. With over 1,500 attendees and 75 young entrepreneurs expected, the fair encourages participants to engage in essential business planning by answering questions about their products, financing, marketing strategies, and success evaluation.

Each business can have no more than three participants, and the event fosters a spirit of healthy competition, allowing young entrepreneurs to navigate market dynamics. Participants are required to bring their own canopies, tables, and chairs, as no equipment will be provided at the venue. Parents are invited to support their younger children, but the primary responsibility for business operations lies with the kids themselves.

Since its inception in Austin, Texas, in 2007, the Acton Children's Business Fair has expanded significantly, with the Columbus edition, hosted by Acton Academy Columbus, contributing to this growth since 2020.
