Acton Children's Business Fair

The Acton Children's Business Fair, hosted at JOY Academy of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, provides a unique opportunity for children aged 5 to 14 to launch their very own startup business. This exciting event encourages young minds to develop their entrepreneurial skills by creating a brand, designing a product or service, and formulating a marketing strategy, culminating in a one-day marketplace experience. With over 35 booths available, it serves as North America's largest entrepreneurship event for kids, allowing participants to showcase their businesses to the community. The Acton Children's Business Fair aims to inspire the next generation of principled entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of creativity, innovation, and community contribution.This event is supported by Acton Academy and the Acton School of Business, along with the generous assistance of local donors and volunteers. It is designed not only to provide practical experience in running a business but also to foster a spirit of competition and camaraderie among young entrepreneurs. Children are encouraged to think critically about their business ideas through a structured application process, where they must consider aspects such as their product or service, financing, marketing strategies, and success metrics. With a projected attendance of around 1,500 visitors and participation from 115 young entrepreneurs, this event is set to create a vibrant marketplace atmosphere, showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the youth.
